Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system that allows users to program and play games by the themselves or other users. Roblox has something for everyone, from role-playing adventures to obstacle courses, and so whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a casual player just looking to have fun, there’s always a time to create, play and connect with other users.

    A new or amateur player.
    “What a noob, they don’t even know how to jump!”

  2. Oof
    The famous Roblox death sound, now used to express failure or frustration.
    “I fell off the map… oof!”

  3. Obby
    Short for “obstacle course,” a popular game type in Roblox.
    “I found this crazy hard obby, let’s see if you can beat it!”

  4. Bacon Hair
    A nickname for default Roblox avatars with a particular hairstyle.
    “Hey, look at that bacon hair trying to play cool!”

  5. GG
    “Good game,” a polite way to show respect after a match.
    “We lost, but that was fun. GG!”

  6. Ragdoll
    When your avatar collapses into a limp, floppy state after dying.
    “I got hit by a cannonball and totally ragdolled across the screen!”

  7. AFK
    Away From Keyboard—when a player is temporarily inactive.
    “I’ll be AFK for a bit, gotta eat dinner.”

  8. R6/R15
    Two different Roblox avatar types—R6 has 6 body parts, while R15 has 15, allowing for more complex movement.
    “I prefer R6 because it looks simpler.”

  9. Spawnkill
    When a player is killed right after respawning, usually seen as unfair.
    “Stop spawnkilling me, I can’t even move!”

  10. Pwned
    A way to say you totally dominated or defeated someone.
    “I won by miles in that fight, I completely pwned you!”

  11. Robux
    Roblox’s virtual currency, used to buy clothes, accessories, and game passes.
    “I just bought some Robux to get that new outfit!”

  12. Tycoon
    A popular Roblox game genre where players build and manage their own businesses or worlds.
    “I’m playing a pizza tycoon, and my restaurant is thriving!”

  13. Rekt
    Slang for “wrecked,” meaning you destroyed or beat someone.
    “You got rekt in that sword fight!”

  14. Admin
    A player with special privileges to moderate or control the game.
    “Watch out, the admin is here, and they can ban players!”

  15. Glitch
    A bug or issue that players can exploit to their advantage.
    “I found a glitch that lets me walk through walls!”

  16. Tix
    An old Roblox currency that was discontinued, often remembered nostalgically.
    “Way back when, we didn’t have Robux, we had Tix!”

  17. Exploit
    Using unauthorized scripts or hacks to cheat in the game.
    “Someone’s using an exploit to fly around the map!”

  18. Camper
    A player who stays in one spot to catch or attack others, usually seen as annoying.
    “Stop camping at the spawn point, it’s unfair!”

  19. Gank
    When multiple players team up to take down a single player.
    “They totally ganked me out of nowhere in that battle!”

  20. Parkour
    Jumping and climbing around obstacles, a popular feature in many Roblox games.
    “This game has some awesome parkour sections!”

  21. Troll
    A player who intentionally annoys or messes with others for fun.
    “That guy keeps trolling everyone by pushing them off the ledge!”

  22. Flamingo
    A popular Roblox YouTuber, but can also be used to describe someone who’s funny or chaotic.
    “You’re acting like a total flamingo right now!”

  23. Rage Quit
    Leaving the game in frustration after losing or failing.
    “I can’t beat this level, I’m about to rage quit!”

  24. Camping
    Staying in one spot, usually near an objective or spawn, to gain an advantage.
    “He’s just camping by the treasure chest, waiting to steal it.”

  25. Griefer
    A player who intentionally causes chaos and disrupts the game for others.
    “That griefer just destroyed my entire house in the game!”

  26. VIP
    Players who have purchased special privileges in a game.
    “I bought the VIP pass, now I get extra perks in the game.”

  27. Pog
    A way to express excitement or something awesome happening.
    “I found a secret room—so pog!”

  28. Skins
    Custom outfits or looks for your avatar, often bought with Robux.
    “I just got a new skin for my avatar, check it out!”

  29. Clipped
    When you or another player gets stuck inside a wall or object due to a glitch.
    “I got clipped into the wall and can’t get out!”

  30. Reset
    Manually resetting your avatar, usually to respawn or get unstuck.
    “I got stuck, so I had to reset my character.”

  31. No Scope
    A term borrowed from shooting games, meaning you hit a target without using a scope.
    “Did you see that no scope? Total luck!”

  32. Hitbox
    The invisible area around a character that registers hits or damage.
    “The hitbox on that sword is way too big!”

  33. Spamming
    Repeatedly sending the same message or action to annoy others.
    “Stop spamming the chat with random letters!”

  34. Lag
    Slowness or delay in the game, usually due to poor internet connection.
    “This lag is making it impossible to play!”

  35. Chill
    A way to say relax or take it easy, often used to calm down heated situations.
    “Dude, chill! It’s just a game.”

  36. Flex
    Showing off rare items or achievements to other players.
    “He’s flexing his rare sword in front of everyone.”

  37. 1v1
    A one-on-one match between two players to see who’s better.
    “Let’s play a 1v1 and settle this!”

  38. Farm
    Repeating a task or level to earn more rewards or resources.
    “I’ve been farming this game for coins all day.”

  39. Mains
    The games or characters a player consistently chooses.
    “My main game is Adopt Me, what about you?”

  40. Script Kid
    Someone who uses scripts or cheats in the game to win.
    “Watch out for that script kid, they’re using hacks.”

  41. God Mode
    A cheat that makes you invincible or gives you incredible powers.
    “He’s using god mode and can’t be beaten!”

  42. Clutch
    When you manage to win or survive a difficult situation at the last moment.
    “I thought I was gonna lose, but I pulled off a clutch win!”

  43. Yeet
    A fun way to say you’re throwing or pushing something (or someone) with force.
    “I just yeeted that guy off the map!”

  44. KOS (Kill on Sight)
    Targeting a player the moment you see them.
    “In this game, it’s KOS—watch your back!”

  45. Robloxian
    A general term for anyone who plays Roblox.
    “I’ve been a Robloxian for years, this is my favorite game!”

  46. Trade Scammer
    Someone who tricks you into a bad trade, often by lying about item value.
    “That trade scammer took all my rare pets!”

  47. AFK Farming
    Setting up a system to farm resources while being away from your keyboard.
    “He’s probably AFK farming for XP.”

  48. Inventory Flex
    Showing off the items or gear you have in your inventory to impress others.
    “He keeps doing an inventory flex with all his rare stuff.”

  49. Spawn
    The point where your avatar starts or reappears in the game.
    “I keep spawning far away from the action.”

  50. GG EZ
    A playful way to say “good game, it was easy” after a win (can be seen as a bit cocky).
    “GG EZ, that was a piece of cake!”
